2014 vs 2018

I found a picture of myself from around 3 or 4 years ago, sitting at my old, wobbly falling-apart desk in my bedroom of year 1 at uni.

My first thought was that famous photo of Jeff Bezos from 1999 in his first office, working on Amazon. 😂

Although this is online a handful of years ago, and I’m no Jeff Bezos lol, things were SO different back then.

All I had to worry about was a few freelancing gigs on the side of some uni work.

No massive decisions to make on a daily basis.

No real-life clients to be worrying about, let alone working towards any deadlines to deliver anything for them.

No team to worry about and manage.

No day-to-day business operations…because there was no business…YET!

But at the same time:

No real freedom
No security
Not much joy

Who knew that a short 36 months later I’d be sitting in an office, running 3 businesses, managing a virtual team, working with business partners, and serving a line-up of amazing clients on a daily basis.

What on earth has been going on in the past 3 years…

Times have absolutely flown by! 🙌🏼

Here’s to many more years of hard graft, dedication and vision.😍
